Seldane was replaced by Allegra. The ingredient in Seldane that

caused the heart problems was terfenadine and only when taken in

combination with protease inhibitors, serotonin reuptake inhibitors,

or a blood pressure drug. That ingredient was replaced with

fexofenadine and the drug is now called Allegra. Worked real well for

me, two 60mg per day.

I was taking the same thing, till I begged my nurse practioner for something

stronger. She prescribed Allegra 180mg, one-a-day.

That, along with the yeast diet is now my routine. I am also taking it a night,

before bed, as opposed to twice during the day with

the 60mg. So far, so good.

Hi!

I am also taking fexofenadine (180 mg twice a day) - in the UK it is known

as Telfast 180. My other meds are:

Doxepin (75mg)

Zyrtek (10mg)

Prednisolone (down to 1mg now!)

Dapsone (50mg) - after reading someone else had used this successfully.

I don't want to tempt fate - but my CIU seems under control now !!!

Hope everyone is well,

Jeanette
