Wt Loss/Gain During Pregnancy

IMHO, I would not be concerned with weight gain regardless if you were or were

not at goal prior to becoming pregnant.

My concern is what's occurring w/ me...I've lost 10lbs in the past 3 weeks (I'm

12 weeks, 5 days). I'm not someone who got prego less than a year out from

surgery. I'm over 30 months out post WLS, have been at goal for some time.

The good thing that keeps my sanity thru this weight loss is clothing size and

measurements. I can no longer fit in my size 6 or 8 jeans but now in 16's

(though the legs are baggy as heck!) and comfortable in maternity medium

pants/jeans. The US from 3 weeks ago showed only one fetus but both the US

tech and OB stated that the other one could be hiding on top of the other...I

guess we wont know for sure til we have the 2-D US and amnio Dec 12th. The

2-D US and amnio was originally scheduled for Dec 5th but my DH is taking me to

NY City that week to see " The Producers " and do some sight-seeing.

Its normal to lose weight during the first few months, and since you

lost so much but are getting bigger, that would be sooooo AWESOME if you

are having twins!?!?!
