Hi Jody-

I had a weird problem when I sent out the messages about Raynaud's and

migraines. I sent the Raynaud's one out first and the migraine one out

later. But the migraine note was delivered first and the Raynaud's second.

It kind of took the messages out of context.

Take care,

Hi Debbie,

I am in the same boat with you, I have only been with this group for about a

year now too and can't believe what I have learned from everyone here....and

how much more there is to learn.

The learning from everyone is what helped me the most in dealing with GD, it

is almost like in some aspects I can control it instead of it controlling

me...not with a some of the physical stuff, but understanding so much more

now just makes it easier to deal.

TK--- Hi everyone. There is a lot of traffic currently on the forum

which is good but I would like to remind everyone to remember to

change subject lines when appropriate and to trim text in their posts.

Text Trimming

It is the height of silliness to include 50 lines of another person's

message in your reply, only to tack on a one-line response. It wastes

everyone's time, costs some people money to download, and is

considered bad form everywhere. You should delete all but the couple

of sentences or paragraphs that you are directly commenting upon.

Conversely, a one line response like " I agree! " with NO quoted text

is utterly useless as well! How is anyone to know exactly what you're

responding to? Include at least a little bit of context.

Subject Morphing

As the subject of a thread morphs into something new, it's up to

somebody to post a reply under a new and more accurate Subject line.

This helps people to know which threads they're interested in

following and aids in searching the archives as well.
