--Thank You and Am using ALA 50 mg. Every 8 hrs. 3 days on 4 off.

I did the hair analysis on myself and by boys and seem to meet to

counting rules. Youngest son 7 is Autistic.

More frequest dosing was a little difficult for me, I have been

having a hard time focusing " brain Fog " for a while.

2 rounds so far. My headachaes are easing up. Only hair loss.

Am taking 1000 mg. Biotin and also Mag. 500 mg. As I read about the

fact that Biotin depletes Mag.

Mona,

Your hair loss might be due to endocrine system imbalances, brought on by

the metals on your glands. I've had hair loss for years now. Take a good look at

your endocrine system--hormonal imbalance is the typical cause of hair loss.

Hi, I would agree with what others have said, that one strong

possibility is thyroid. I too had major hair loss after I took ALA (not

realising it chelated). I subsequently developed a worsening of all my

thyroid and adrenal problems. I'm also low in iron and on no endocrine

support.

The hair loss stopped dead when I started on thyroid and adrenal

glandulars (even though I was still low in iron) and even before I

started taking Armour thyroid. I think it's more of a thyroid problem.

Depending on your situation, you could consider taking iodine, or

glandulars, herbs or steroids.
