If it makes you feel any better, we sent my " baby " to summer day camp

this summer b/c he begged to go with Miranda and --well, he did great

and actually acquired some muscle mass, and didn't get sick at all...I am so

glad I did it, and he will go to half day pre-school in 2 weeks, but it is a

very small private school (same school runs the classy camp...) so I am sure

it will be a wonderful experience. I don't know why, but even with 5 kiddos,

has always been my special one, maybe b/c we almost lost him when he

was a baby??? Anyway, I do know how you feel and take care,

3 with CF!!! And I thought our life got crazy! Do you ever want to tell us

your diagnosis story? I ask b/c in your last post it sounded like your

middle child might have been the first diagnosed?

Your school story sounds similar to ours, we just sort of fell into this

classy little preschool by sending the kids to their summer day camp--and we

fell in love!! To us, its worth the money to trust the teachers with their

care, but that doesn't mean its not a sacrifice!!

Let us know what the doc decides about the tune-up. I won't be happy if we

have to do another on after he starts the pre-school year!! (besides,

if they have to have tune-ups this year, by god, my kiddos are going in only

before or after RSV season, NOT during!!!)

AND YOURS HAD CHICKENPOX TOO, INSPITE OF THE VACCINE, HUH?!! SO DID ALL OF

MINE (well, not ph, he's too little, of course, and it was long before

he was born anyway... Ron also caught them from the kids so we did

chickenpox for over a month!! Our ped. said such a situation was quite

unusual...and ran a bunch of tests to make sure they didn't have really bad

immune systems, but all checked out ok)
