3 weeks and going

I am at 3 weeks today and go from frustration to being pleased again.

Off the drugs but not sleeping very well. No pain just stiff and I

also find my knee painful and unstable as well as my right elbow (from

the crutches). The knee is a little unerving, I will have to ask the

doc about that one. The physio is going well. I can now do the

windshield wipers....that was very exciting, I started to think I was

paralized. My stamina is much better, don't know how far I walk in a

day, I am on my feet all of the time. I am quite house bound by the

weather, lots of ice around here so I am very nervous about slipping.

A big adventure is going to the stable and visiting with the babies or

walking 1/4 mile to the mail box. I feel like I am missing so

much....another foal due this week. I now know how they feel when they

have a hard time getting up. My husband is putting on weight from all

of the baking I am doing. I can't help in the stable so I am over

compensating by cooking his favourites.

I am looking forward to seeing the doc and going on to the next stage.

I am going to a business meeting tomorrow. It should be interesting to

see how that goes and how my business partner handles a gimp at his side.
