------- DMSA is typically taken at the same time the ALA is, every

three hours to avoid this problem.

--- There are inexpensive watches and alarm colcks that have multiple

alarm settings, especially helpful at night so you don't have to

bother reseting the alarm clock. Many people when asleep forget to

reset tha alarm in the middle of the night and end up missing a dose

which means you have to stop that round.

what happens, if for example, you awake late and take your dose two hours

late? Are you supposed to stop completetly?

Thanks.

Do not take a dose two hours late. Get yourself a good multiple

alarm colck so you don't wake up late as having to stop a round in

the middle is a pain and kind of a waste of a round. You have up to

an hours grace period with ALA 3-4 hours. Once you get close to the

4 hour mark or an hour late you are supposed to stop the round and

wait until it is time for the next round or an appropiate number of

days.

Pill timers are very handy for this. I got a very inexpensive one

from Radio Shack (not sure if this chain exists outside of Canada)

which I can simply set for 3 hours. When it goes off, I take the

pill and hit the button and it starts counting down again. This way

you don't have to mess around with changing the times or programming

a unit, etc..

It also has a compartment to hold the pills and is very small.

Similar units are probably around at various pharmacies.
