So, here's what I need you to do for our kids:

1. Cut and paste this template letter, fill in your Senator's name (make 2

copies, one for each Senator), change the words around or add your own thoughts

if you want (but you do not have to!), and email/fax to your Senators with a

copy emailed to me at alpy2@... (or if you can't send it to your senators,

just email it to me). Here's the link to the template letter:

Here's how to find the contact info (fax and email) for your Senators:

http://www.senate.gov OR

http://www.congress.org

(Like I said, if that's difficult for you, just send your letter to me.)

2. Go to SpedVoters website (http://www.spedvoters.org) and follow the link

to sign their online petition.

These two things should take you LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES. Seriously, set a

timer and you'll see it's true (I tried it, and I'm pretty slow with computers

actually).

BTW, if you've already written your senators, asking them to VOTE NO on

S.1248, then feel free to send me your old letter instead of doing the new

letter.

We can deliver that letter for you instead. Please don't think that if you've

already written, then you can't write again.

Please help, while there's still time to derail this train! We're having an

impact, but we need to keep the pressure up! I know we're all busy - believe

me, I know that! But we can all give FIVE MINUTES to our kids, can't we?? Thanks
