Asbestos, maybe? Or something like that? Awesome theory!! Finally someone besides me finds this logical. For years I have had an inclination, although denied by EVERYBODY who knows anything......that this was brought on by something at the job. I have worked in an auto assembly plant for 10 years and my husband is always mentioning the worry about how much asbestos, etc. contained within the plant. I have been to 4 different plants and did not have DPU until I worked in the one with the most dangerous amounts of toxic chemicals, fiberglass and ALOT of asbestos. Most auto plants are very old buildings with very old fixtures and waste procedures. Even though I am instructed to eliminate this as a factor to my suffering.....It will always stand out in my heart as a contributor.
Guest guest
Hello All: I hate to jump on the band-wagon - I'm a believer that 'total load' from many allergies and diet is the cause of my CU. BUT - I've noticed many of us work in schools, factories - maybe there's something to it! Remember, though, that most of people late in this century probably DO work in these conditions. Anyway, I've worked for 22 years in a University Bookstore - dusty, dry air. Summer months are unbearably hot and humid. Air circulation system is hot air, recirculated through the building. Only a few window open, and then not very far; the walls are glass, so it's like working in a terrarium! Home environment - our dogs started inside the house around the same time my symptoms exploded, and I added a budgie to our menagerie! But, I too have had chicken pox, and herpes (but 10 years before CU). Looking for connections, Donna in Canada Re: Oz-Old buildings > In a message dated 8/2/00 11:04:08 PM Eastern Daylight Time, > esthers.1@... writes: > > > Perhaps something to do with spending a lot of time in old > > buildings?
