Actually, I'm not sure when Mr. Treacy starts and stops the clock - probably when he actually starts the incision and when he himself is finished. There may be some last minute things someone else does at the end. But anyway, he is faster than a speeding bullet, almost superhuman. I would guess his whole life is fast, judging from the way he drives around in his little red sports car. Quite dashing.
