Guest guest
and Pam - had to throw my 2 cents in here. My favorite story abuot my now 16 year old daughter comes from when she was in kindergarten. She was horrible at home - she and I were always fighting (boy oculd she puch my buttons), she never obeyed me and so on. I was so worried that she was like that at school or with friends, but I only got good reports back from others. In one of our knock down drag out fights, I said to her " I HOPE you don't do this at school!! " She looked me in the eye and replied " No, I save it for you! " Ahhh, kids. Meg > , > this story sounds like I heard from a friend the other day. My friend Carol has a daughter who is named Abigail. Abigail has always been a challenge, to put it mildly (she is 6). Carol went to a PTA meeting the other night and the teacher was gushing about Abigail and said to Carol, " Is she ever bad? " Carol asked if she, the teacher, had the right kid! So...you are not alone for all the help THAT might be. > > pam > > > ---------- > > From: Pat and Halloran > > Reply To: CHARGE > > Sent: Tuesday, April 13, 2004 9:09 AM > > To: CHARGE > > Subject: Re: disney > > > > I hope it will be a positive experience---and I'm glad you got a > > laugh---although I wasn't laughing when he refused to do anything this > > m. ---he never acts this way for them at school (which I am glad about), or > > anyone else, but the attitude and behavior at home is terrible. not all the > > time, but the majority of it now---is it being 8 or what? Guest guest
Ah, Meg! My now 24-year-old has made it terribly plain that she saves it all for us. I'm not quite sure I believe her, because I know how short her fuse can be, but she certainly believes it. Somehow this makes me certain that she fundamentally knows how to behave. I hope that makes sense...Martha
