Guest guest
dear jennifer my daughter is 15 she was dignoised with acute chronic pediatric pancreatitis and yes some of the time one enzyme will go up before the other we have been dealing with this for about 3 and a half years. most of your doctors will not belive you about a child with this horrible illness whitch is life threatning and the drugs that work better when she is in an attack is octriatide, which is the enzymes, moraphine is the only pain med. which works on the sphyncter of odie . krystal has had 4 surgerys on that sphyncter to open it up more and more and again and again so that it will drain faster. she is also on creon, viocase(enzymes), zoloft(anti depressent), prilosect(acid reflux),and two others which i dont know how to spell. she can not have more than 6 grames of fat and no more than 40 grams of protin. and your little girl will have to stick to the diet very stictly . if not it will bring on an attack because she will produce too many enzymes and that is what will cause the attack.where are you from i am in walker louisiana if you are near we can maybe call each other and be there for each other.
