Guest guest
Kim gave a good explanation of some of the theory behind cranial sacral therapy. I thought I'd add that the therapists that treat my daughter are licensed physical therapists with additional cranial sacral training. The billing that goes to the insurance is simply billed as physical therapy. I have not had a problem with insurance paying so far. The therapists apply very light touches and do not force anything. It's not like a chiropractor at all. My daughter's therapists basically apply light touches to key areas and when the body is ready to move itself it does. I have noticed a difference in my daughter's face since going for therapy too. I didn't mention that before. I too have thought of scheduling appointments for myself. I haven't done that yet. Some of the other moms where I go have had treatments themselves and say it is wonderful. --
