Guest guest
Hallo everyone, Thank you for all the suggestions etc. In reply, all the medication I am taking has been prescribed by the Dermatologist I have been seeing ever since I came from South Australia 4 years ago. I don't like it, but I can't just stop without finding something else to do about the CU.I have also been given antihistamines, but all they did was send me to sleep for 23 hours out of the 24!!I have regular blood tests.I have also had allergy testing and there doesn't seem to be anything to which I am allergic.I have begun the yeast free diet, and have arranged to have acupuncture next week.(My dermatologist is in agreement with these arrangements.)I have seen other specialists, but they all agree with my Doctor - can control it but not cure it.Depressing, isn't it?Also, quite ridiculous, really. We can put a man on the moon but not cure a simple rash.(Perhaps it's not quite so simple) However, I have a pretty good lfe;I can still drive, though I'm not driving at night any more, and I get to play Croquet at least twice a week, and I have my family in the next suburb. Peta, I should like some of your cakes, even though I couldn't eat them while I am dieting! And what is this Cat's Claw? Once again, thank you for the support;it's wonderful to know that there are other people in the same boat. Yours gratefully, Barbara.
