Guest guest
There are so many things we don't know what feel like. It's like first heart attacks are often confused by people with indigestion. My father did. My mother recognized he was having a heart attack. But, we've never had it before. I never understood panic attacks, but when you're really had one, you know. I had one time I recall that I was seated and was told to put my legs up on the table and relax. I couldn't raise them. It was at least ten minutes before I was able to raise them using my hands. Longer before I was actually rid of the paralysis in them. I thought I'd had concussions, because I'd been hit and knocked a bit dingy before (no comments from the peanut gallery). But then I really had one. Face swelling, head swelling, weakness in limbs and so many other symptoms. Same thing with sob. I had three experiences that were like nothing I'd ever experienced before. Thats when I told the doctor it wasn't just being out of shape, but there was something different going on. Six minute walk, pulmonologist, IPF. I know my worst panic attacks were chronic anxiety, post traumatic stress, and stress at the moment all piled together. Unfortunately, no meds ever worked for me. Anti anxiety meds would either make me worse or put me to sleep or make me very sick on my stomach. But, today I understand myself, can manage them better and recover quicker. > > Hi Gang..
