Guest guest
Hi Laurel: My positive thoughts are with your son Doug and his wife that they have a happy and healthy baby and I hope his leukemia will go into remission. It must be such a worry for you. You must be sooooooooo proud of him and his accomplishments. I know I would have been a bawling machine if it would have happened to me. I don't know about you but I have such a hard time keeping my emotions in check even at happy occasions. Am sure Doug is equally as proud of you and the way you handle your situation. Take care and congratulate your son from a Fellow PLSer. Jo! children > Yes, indeed children are such wonders, and grandchildren................there aren't words efficient enough to describe the love I feel for them. My son, Doug & his wife are having their 1st baby on Wednesday, and I ask for your prayers. They see on the ultrasound that baby has one enlarged kidney, so they will take the baby on Wednesday. is my son that is now in remission from the leukemia, and takes chemo by pills every day. They told them it was safe to get pregnant, and that baby should be fine. Let's hope and pray baby is healthy and normal. > graduated from med school as a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine on Saturday. When I opened the Commencement Program, and looked at the list of the new Doctors graduating, there was Doug's name at the top as Valedictorian. Needless to say, I was a wreck with tears of pride & joy for the rest of the program. I don't know what I did to deserve God's gift of Doug to me. > God bless all of you, your blessed children and grandchildren! > Laurel > > > >
