I wanted to suggest that you write to the Boston Foundation for Sight and see if there's anything they can do for you or have any suggestions for financial assistance to see an opthamologist. Their address is 1244 Boylston Street, Suite 202, Chestnut Hill, MA 02167. Also, if you ever get to the Boston area, go see a doctor named at the Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary.
