Guest guest
Peggy & Beth, Things ended up in a huff around the Jarrett house. Eddie cooked supper. Eddie had told us he didn't want to go to church tonight (to the other church we go to but not belong to, goes to it and my dad had belonged to it, does that make sense?) They were having an awesome Christmas program. After we ate, Eddie had another word or two and I said, you said you weren't going! Well, he then informs me he has to take a shower (He's been home for 3 hours) and I say, yeah you can go with us, you said you weren't going!!! I told him to skip the shower & change clothes. & I went on to the car and he finally came out wearing heavy cologne. He knows how I feel about it. When we got to church, Eddie was sweet as pie. The program was great! I have never been to a singing & dancing Christmas program at church. They even had tap dancers! It was awesome! On the way home, Eddie & went into the Kroger store and bought ice cream for us to eat at home. Everything has now calmed down since we went to church. Tomorrow is our church. My bell group is playing tomorrow morning and tomorrow night. Thanks for the advice. I think Eddie is scared that he will go to all the trouble moving her to Nashville & then he will have to move her back home. I have more faith in her than he does. I KNOW she can do the job! She wants to do the job. Her dad is driving her crazy, too. Toodles! Crazy Jane UIP/IPF 12/1998 Dalton, Georgia aka pianolady_musicgirl> >> > Jane,> > Hey there lady! Guest guest
Oh it just sounds like your set up right. I know you will find it funny that things move quite a bit slower in the south. lol. I'll think of you watching your wooded area while I have my coffee on the porch in the mornings. Oh do ENJOY your family and little Sabastian. I am doing better. Breathing is still a bit tough so I am not moving around much. My saturation just will not staywhere I feel like I can stay on my feet. I'm going to get ahold of my Dr. Monday and have her increase my O2.My concentrator only goes to 5L so I think I am going to change companys too. That will be fun.I'm thinking about trying liquid. Maybe I'll do both until I try it out. From what Joyce says I'll need to keep tanks too for back-up. I HATE THIS DISEASE.OH yea, I forgot I am so sorry I broke the rule "NO GETTING SICK" ..It was just a wee bit. Love and Prayers, Peggy ipf 6/04 Florida"Worry looks around, Sorry looks back, Faith looks up." OK Miss Peggy, I'll stop monkeying around and give you some info! I'm beginning to settle in here in Durham, though it's definitely a process that's slower than I expected. I just can't get things done as quickly as I'd like to but that's news to no one! The house itself is wonderful. The builder did a great job and we had absolutely no problems to report for our 30 day inspection. At this moment I'm sitting in my recliner in my little living room. I've got hardwood floors and an immense arched window looking out at the front yard. If I step outside this room I'm in a short hallway that leads to my bathroom. From the bathroom I can enter my bedroom. Which is carpeted and has a lovely big walk in closet. I also have a small kitchenette outside my living room. The rest of the house, huge great room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and bath is my parents territory, though they would not want me to say that. They want me to feel it's all my home. We also had a large screened in porch off the kitchen. That's one of my favorite spaces in the house. It looks out on woods in the back of the house and feels pretty private. The neighborhood is new and still largely under construction. There is a mix of young families and a few older couples. There is an absolutely adorable little boy named Sebastian living across the street. The location is convenient to things like groceries, drug stores, church, banks, post office etc. I'm about 10 minutes from my doctors office at Duke. If (God forbid) I ever have to call 911 the ambulance will take me to Duke. All in all, I'm happy. I miss my sister and her 4 little ones. They are planning to move down sometime in the next year and it can't happen soon enough for me. My godson Jack lost his first tooth without me!! So what else do you want to know. I'm more concerned about you....How are you feeling tonight? Has the Levequin kicked in yet?Consider yourself hugged girlfriend!!Love, Beth in NC Fibrotic NSIP 06/06 Sydney New Years Eve 2007 | City of SydneyNEW YEARS EVE PARTY....... ...come aboard theDREAMBOAT on SYDNEY HARBOUR......arrive by the Flying Kangaroo (aka QANTAS) all O2 needs catered for.....no wurries...it' ll all be taken care of.......just get yourGLAD RAGS together (to get 'Gussied up' Peggy style ya understand me!)
