well you're right I do need to De-stress, but sometimes it's soo hard.

I had a long soak in a Dead Sea salt bath with lavendar oil and felt

better yesterday evening. I slept pretty well last night.

I am going to try the nurse practioner and see how that goes...

I have tried to talk to my doctor about certain things, but he seems

so ho hum about it all, I cant seem to make him perk up and take an

interest in what I have to say... I have done quite a bit of reading,

but it hasn't been too long since my diagnosis and there is still so

much to learn.

I do meditate and I have had pretty good luck with keeping myself

calm, but I swear, when I'm hyper it's like a landslide in my brain

and I feel just buried under the rushing thoughts..

Thanks everyone for your advice and soothing words..

Val

I get the dead sea salts at the health food store, they come in a

little cannister and they are a bit expensive..

What I like about them is that they dissolve in the water, and they

make the water really really salty, so when I float in the tub my

muscles really feel " suspended " in the water. I guess all that salt

makes a person really buoyant, but it is the best thing I have found

for getting the tension out of my hands, legs and shoulders.

Lying in the tub combined with deep breathing and some creative

visualiztion about the tension leaving my body and i usually tremble

all over for about 5 minutes while my muscles relax. It feels so good

it makes me cry, if that makes any sense.

Val,

Glad to hear you slept well last night.

I can relate to the landslide and rushing thoughts.

I've never seen Dead Sea salt, but do use the lavendar. Where do you get

the Dead sea salt?

It took me a while to learn how to de-stress, but when I felt or feel over

loaded, I take a time out and go rest in my room with the door closed and

everyone knows it is quiet time. Just like for the kids. It really helps

me, especially having two teen girls with PMS and a toddler around. A half

an hour does me wonders, even if I don't sleep I feel very refreshed.

Take care,

Debbie R.
