Guest guest
Karyn, I haven't caught up with my e-mail and just sent you one and did not read that you had E-mailed me back. I was beginning to think this was some kind of exclusive club that some of us are ignored. I don't mean to come across rude, it was just no one was answering me. I think I answered part of your question in my e-mail prior to this, and I have to confess I don't remember the name of my surgery (now that's really bad). I'm referring to the e-mail that I asked you for a transcript from the symposium if it is available. All I know is it was not Whipple.I even asked my husband and sister if they remember the name, and they were no help. He took out part of my pancreas that was dead and reconnected it to the rest of my innards. I have been relatively pain free compared to what I was going through, but they have said my pancreas is going to continue to calcify and die. When that happens then I will become a diabetic. They have no! time table. It could be 5 years or could be 10. In the meantime, I will have pancreatitis attacks, but not as severe. I'm rambling, but I hope I have made sense. sportbroad-Becky
