BHR planned for 23 October 2oo2

It has been quite a time since I last wrote anything on this site but

have had a long thinking time before I could make my decision.

However, finally I have an appointment with Dr de Smet in Belgium on

the 23rd of October for the BHR on my left hip.

I still find it very nerve wrecking, especially as I do not feel my

hip at all. Still my knee and all around that area and generally a

nagging feeling in my left leg. To be operated on my hip and then be

free of all of this other pain seems unbelievable but that is what I

am going for. And to be able to walk without pain and I really want

to be able to play sport and get myself fit again....

I only read positive things about the BHR and now and again, have

heard of this squeaking effect later on but this can be quite normal

because the muscles have to all heal!

I will let you know how it all goes later on.
