Guest guest
Hello, my midwife just told me my iron was a little low. I am planning a home birth so I need to have levels up. So I have have started some iron building herbs. But she wants to give me Chromagen. Now first of all it's almost an inch long gelcap, with all sorts of side affects like I quote " the Average capsule doses in sensitive individuals or excessive dosage may cause nausea, skin rash, vomiting, diarrhea, precordial pain, or flushing of the face and extremities. " I had to switch to chewables for my prenatals because I tried a regular pill type, and I ended up with terrible cramping. What I am wondering is has anybody had any problems with the iron supplements? I am waiting on my surgeon's office to call me with other options now. But otherwise all things are great with this pregnancy, the baby is great in growth and development, even though I have only gained 12pounds. It's so funny people keep saying I don't look that pregnant. Mellisa mom to 2 girls, and edd 1/25/
