Guest guest
Low blood pressure's another thing that I remember coming up before. Seems to me several of us also have low bp. Mine's always been very low, even after this stupid weight gain from pred. Hmmm, low body temp and low bp? Where's this going to lead us? - Jackie ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com

Do you think we are really onto something. I never take my temperture unless I am sick. This is really strange Lets see if there are more of us out there. Guest guest
They have not found a problem with my thyroid, but I too have a low body temperature of about 97, I also have a low blood pressure. A pharmacist I once worked for jokingly said I was dead and just didn't know when to lye down. Zelma

Guest guest
I have a book at home called " Priscription for Nutritional Healing " . It says: " the Thyroid self-test for Hypothyroidism (or 's Syndrome) is to keep a thermometer by your bed at night. When you awaken in the morning, place the thermometer under your arm and hold it there for 15 minutes. Keep still and quiet. Any motion can upset your temp. reading. A temp. of 97.6 or lower may indicate an underactive thyroid. Keep the temp. log for five days. If your readings are consistently low, consult your health care provider. " This is copied verbatum. I like to refer to this book a lot it is quite informative. I got thyroid blood tests last Feb. and today. It's pretty bad when you hope tests come back negative. When you're healthy, you hope for positive. Goes to show my state of health. Take care everyone! Hope this helps. Guest guest
Kate, Wow! I think you may be on to something! I have no idea if my body temperature is below normal but I'm certainly going to check it out. Thanks for the info! Sally, I'm taking 0.025mg of synthroid once a day which is even lower than the dose you are taking. But the hives are gone! Just hope they stay gone!
