Guest guest Posted December 31, 2007 Report Share Posted December 31, 2007 Gwynne, We could start a WHOLE huge conversation about Music.....You lucky thing you being at that Rolling Stones Concert......I've never been able to get to big concerts...I make do with videos, Vinyl & CD's & DVDS... I will stick my neck out & say that while I reckon the Stones are consumate performers & great promoters of their combined talent they're not in the same musical artistic league as the Fab Four (or really the Fab Three on THAT measure!)....the Beatles owe a huge debt to for handling the music PRODUCTION but , & were true lyric composers. Symohony Orchestras will play their music for a long time to come...I've never heard an Orchestra do anything with Stones music! Stones Music NEEDS the Stones to perform it, the Beatles Music can stand on its own merits....I reckon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
