Yes, it can cause chest pain. They need to do an echocardiagram. There are other tests, also.

i had a echocardiogram done at the end of oct. they want to do a double

heart cath.....i told them no.

I had the left-right heart cath about 18 months ago. It was part of my lung transplant evaluation. I had no symptoms of heart trouble. They found an 80% blockage in the right coronary artery. It would not have been long until I would have had a full blown heart attack and with my lungs like this.....I would not have made it. So, the cath saved my life.

Did they see something on the echo or something else that would cause them to want a cath. They usually do not do those without good cause. Find out!

Tammy, SOB can cause chest pain and ask

them for an echocardiogram to rule out Pulmonary Hypertension.
