Kathy:

I saw Mr. Treacy this evening when he made his rounds and I explained your

predicament.

At first he misunderstood me and thought that your Surgery was scheduled for

November in which case he was not so concerned but when I told him that it

was only your Consultation which was scheduled for November he was very

surprised, he had thought that his waiting lists were improving... A

consultation in November would mean surgery in Spring 2003 !

At any rate, he said that he would need to see your X-rays in order to answer

your question as to how long you could wait or if you could wait at all.

He said that he would be happy to look at them if you forwarded them to his

PRIVATE secretary, s (treacyhip@...). He would then let you

know.

Mr. Ronan Treacy - 81 Harborne Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B15 3HG

Tel: 0 (Secretary s)

I am copying this e-mail also to so that she knows to expect hearing

from you.

Best of luck and do let us know.

Kathy,

This is good news from Chris. is a absolute star - if you don't have

Xrays ( I know the NHS had all of mine) it is well worth giving her a ring I

am sure she will arrange an order form from Mr T for you to get them done

privately.

I've had BHR & the hospital (NHS) would allow you to buy copies of the x-rays -

less than £20 each. Suggest speaking to your GP who will arrange for them to be

done quickly locally and then forwarded for Mr Treacy's attention

Even that would be quick.

Steve had to wait 6 months before his initial consultaion with NHS

(Berkshire) in December 2000.

And he's STILL on the waiting list now!.

They said it would be 18 months minimum!

And the ruddy politicians are lying again - saying that no-one is on the

waiting lists for more than 15 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
