I am going to the hospital today and check with the doctors to see what showed on his test results from yesterday about his lungs. Guest guest Posted February 13, 2000 Report Share Posted February 13, 2000 hi i have also ad a coupe of nucklear scanson lugs. on hospitalization trip they could not figure out why my bood oxygen was so low. they tried everything including finaly giving me 5 tranfusions hopein tht would help. iw as getting as frustrated asthey were because the would not let me g home until it was up. (since then, if i need it, they do notuse low blood ox excuse t keep me in hospital is everything else is ok, they just send me home with oxygen. one ime i came home still with a catheter, iv's an full day oxygen. they told me later that they were afraid tha if they didn't get mo out of the hospital and home hat i would die (catch something else the could not sure). i think that wasthe hoptaliztion that my porta cath got infected so they put in another one. the orginal sit grew a fungal infetion tht went sstemic and i had to go on amphoceteran-B which caued renal failuse, and the other porta cath site developed staph thatalso went systemic. what a mess. i was so gld t get home!!!!!! anyway pryers are wit you love denise Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
