Thats what I'm referring to primarily, particularly when he talked about Cuba. When I lived in South Florida I saw reporters who regularly went to Cuba and because of families they were able to report all sides. , in all likelihood, only got the royal tour. As to people dying because of greed, its absolutely horrible as is people dying because of lack of medical care here and everywhere else. I know our medical system has major problems, but I also know that all others do as well....I have a friend whose mother died waiting for Public Health Care in the UK because they thought the problem wasn't serious. Of course, I had a friend almost died when his appendix ruptured as he was left sitting on a cart outside ER for hours in the US. What irritates me I believe is much the same as that which irritates you and that is everyone admits there are problems with our system, but there is absolutely nothing being done about it on a National Basis. Some states have done more than others. The state of Texas brags that they have an emergency plan anyone who can't get other health insurance can buy. Oh, right....horrible plan. I actually looked at it in detail. My premium would have been $800 per month and I still would have spent at least $10,000 per year on medical care. Want a simple start....very expensive but simple. Make the same plan as Medicare available to everyone. The last few trips we took I had to use a chair because of fibromialgia. (sp??) We still loved it. Yes we went in special doors and to the front of every line. They were very attentive. The prices have gotten so high it just blows my mind. About 8 years ago we gave our youngest and her family a week-end there for Christmas.Well we would have to mortgage the farm to do that now. You get a card and avoid all lines. Now, you give me Mouse House with 30 min and hour long lines and I say no. Oh, and I can assure you if I came that close I'd meet you somewhere. And, of course, with a handicapped tag we can drive right up front. We just went and stopped when we felt like it. The big shocker was when I got the bill for the Grand Floridian after a week-end.. It was worth every penny. Indescribably beautiful. We watched a Wedding on the grounds. That was worth it. Cinderella's coach. umm wonderful memories. Bet you would never guess how many times we watched Somewhere in Time..
