Date October 28, 2008 my PSA was 4,517 ng/ml. Advanced prostate cancer with bone metastases. After bilateral orchiedectomy Novermber 27, 2008 it dropped to 412.8 ng/ml. I was also taking one tab Casodex 50 gm per daily and by March 30, 2010 it was down to 14.92 ng/ml.But suddenly September 2,2010 it statrted going up 126.11. I stopped Casodex rested for a while. January 26, 2011 I started LDK + Predsolone ( HC tablets are not available in Tanzania and in fact East Africa). One month later my PSA was 226 ng/ml. I continued with LDK + Predsolone and on March 22, 2011 my PSA has gove down to 150.92. Its faith in God and a strong will to live which is keeping me strong. Well I thinks that responds to aprt of your quriosity. Orchedectomy is commonly used in Tanzania. It costs USD 600 for that op.
