It's a horrible thing to watch. :-(( Like you, I hope I don't live long enough to reach that stage. When you have watched someone slowly fade away to dementia... there is a lot to be said for just dropping dead one day! Sorry to get off-topic...... but your post hit a chord with me. I can relate.
