Guest guest
Someone has had their insurance cover it though I'm not sure who. If you continually get rashes or what have you under your stomach and have your doctor document it, etc..it should be covered under insurance. This is just what I've heard not that I'm at that point yet. 432/370/170 Lap RNY 6/20/03 Speaking of Plastic Surgery........ /Jill " <imahoottoo@y...> wrote: What plastic surgery are you going to > have, just tummy tuck or something more. Guest guest
My brother had plastic surgery of both the front and the back. The insurance covered the front, because he had some other problems (hernia and overstretched facia). They did not cover the back. He is currently appealing that denial, because he has a broken coxic (sp?), tail bone, and he needed the padding to cushion the bone. (He had no butt). So, it seems that insurance will cover the plastic surgery as long as you can come up with a medical reason. He had Aetna Insurance. Guest guest
My friend works for Humana. They will cover the tummy tuck if there is at least a 5 inch flap. I'm not sure aboutmy own insurance, i haven't checked into it yet. Every policy is different. Debbie R.
