DMSA question

Hello

I´m new here. I had my amalgams removed 9 months ago. I have just

started chelate with ALA 50mg every 3 hours for 3 days and then off.

Can anyone tell me, is DMSA necessary in mercury chelation? Do I

recover quicker if I use DMSA? Do I get more improvement in

chelation with DMSA or is it okay to use ALA only?

Some people can eliminate their bodily mercury in 3 years without

chelation. If you are not in a hurry you could try Ala for 2 months,

then Dmsa for 2 months, then both. Unless you do it in a scientific

manner as above it will be difficult to tell which is working. 7

months after amalgam removal and chelating with Dmsa and Ala

singularly and together since then all I can say is I feel bad when

using Dmsa and ok when using Ala. I don't have a clue if my

improvement is due to time, or the chelators. Since you have waited

for a while after amalgam removal it would be easier for you to

determine if your improvement is due to the chelator rather than time.

I would suggest you try one at a time first, then both and let us know

the results.

DMSA is not necessary but can help remove the body burdon of Hg and

speeds chelation [slightly]. ALA is necessary and will remove the

mercury from the brain as well. It is fine to just use ALA only.

If you are just starting I would suggest sticking with the ALA

alone until you are sure what is happening or not symptom wise and

then add the DMSA or DMPS later if you want or need to.
