WOW I have lost weight already :)

Hello all just wanted to let you all know I am freaking out over here in the

Bronx, NY. I had my Lap RNY on 8/25/03 and today is only 8/30/03 and I have

already lost 8 pounds WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!! )))))))))

I started off on my day of surgery at 274 my personal goal because I was 293

pounds as of 04/30/03 so I lost weight on my own because my surgeon had strict

rules and I had to have lost 10 pounds by surgery day and I showed him I lost

even more LOL and now in only a few short days I am at 266 pounds this is the

lowest I have weighed in about 10 years LOL This surgery ROCKS!!!

I am drinking my liquids and taking my vitamins everything gets crushed up

and taken with a little bit of liquid. I am on the clear liquid diet right now

and all I can say is wow, but I will not be stepping on the scale again until

my 2 week appointment with my surgeon at his office so I think I will be

really happy. I have heard of people losing 20 pounds in the first 2 weeks

following surgery hopefully I will be one of them:) I have my fingers, toes and

eyes

crossed for good luck.
