I didn't want to drug them the next day since I didn't want them sleepy and missing anything. We went to Walgreens and found wrist bands for them to wear. I don't remember the exact name of them, but they were in the children's section with Dramamine and other anti-motion sickness/nausea drugs. They are small gray wrist bands with little buttons on them. The buttons push on pressure points in the wrists, and they really do work. Both kids were totally motion sickness free the rest of our trip. The cost was approx. $10 for a package of two writst bands. You might consider this. Guest guest
Sherry, There is an over the counter anti-nausea medication called Emetrol, but I don't know if it's suitable for kids her age. You might read on the package about it. I think it's fairly fast acting, since it's a liquid, and she wouldn't have to take any unless she needed it. Maybe it's worth checking into. Guest guest
Sherry, there are wrist bands that you can purchase at some pharmacies/health food stores that put pressure on trigger points to help avoid motion sickness, perhaps you could call around for these? I will see if I can find anything online, do a search for motion sickness and see what you get! Hugs,----- Original Message ----- From: switty36@... My daughter is going on a whale watch May 3-8. Guest guest
Wouldn't candied also mean highly sugared? I also read that dosage/effects are unpredictable with raw ginger.
