Guest guest
, I am so sorry. You're so right, each time we come back from the doctors with more bad news it does feel like you were kicked! I have Sarcoidosis too and wonder if it could be affecting your heart as well as your lungs. Mine affects my lungs and eyes. I have also found that if I eat well I don't need the statins and I swear by Omega Nutrition EB Oil capsules. I don't know if they help the PF but they work great for the sarcoid especially when I have flareups. I take 3 a day and they keep my cholesterol manageable, and take away the dry eye and blurry vision I get from the Sarcoid. I will be praying for you- Sarcoid/PF 3/2006 California Cardiology Appointment Today Hi Everyone I had a cardiology appointment today which was brought forward from January 08 some weeks ago I had a angiogram, which came back showing narrowing of the arteries in my chest, so now I have been put on Isosrbide Mononitrate 90mg, enalapiril 5mg one in the morning and one at night and also statins and now I have a Nitrolingual pumpsray this on top of everything else i cannot believe it, aspirin75mg, he was also talking about other heart medication they can control it with I asked where does it put me in relation to Ipf he said we will work together with the Lung Centre at Wythenshawe but as far as stents bypasses and stuff its a no go I want to say things in a bit of Latin but because there are Ladies present on this Group I am controling myself Talk about being kicked when your down. Guest guest
What an absolutely horrible day. More than Latin is fully called for after this day. It's so difficult when we have multiple issues compounding the situation. I know finding anything positive right now is tough and you probably shouldn't even try to today. Tomorrow find something positive. Maybe it will be that your doctors are going to work together or if you're not satisfied you'll even see more. Maybe its the realization that you forgetting the doctor for a second you feel no different tomorrow than you did yesterday. So, while searching for answers you bounce back and continue as you were. But I think you fully deserve to be upset, frustrated and angry all you want today. Just try to not let it carry over and ruin tomorrow and the day after. > > > > Hi Everyone > > I had a cardiology appointment today which was brought forward from > January 08 some weeks ago I had a angiogram, which came back showing > narrowing of the arteries in my chest, so now I have been put on > Isosrbide Mononitrate 90mg, enalapiril 5mg one in the morning and > one at night and also statins and now I have a Nitrolingual pumpsray > this on top of everything else i cannot believe it, aspirin75mg,he > was also talking about other heart medication they can control it > with I asked where does it put me in relation to Ipf he said we will > work together with the Lung Centre at Wythenshawe but as far as > stents bypasses and stuff its a no go I want to say things in a bit > of Latin but because there are Ladies present on this Group I am > controling myself Talk about being kicked when your down. Guest guest
, Wouldn't it be good to get a little good news???? Your health problems are getting very complicated. Are your doctors communicating? I'm sorry that your load is so heavy. Try to be strong and look at each day as a gift from God. We are all here for you and we care. Guest guest
Well, that part sure sounds good and the fact that as difficult as it is you're managing your medical care by making sure they all have the information and provide it back and forth. I've read enough to know you're filling each one in on everything too. Somehow I get the impression that as frustrating as it can be and the words it makes you want to use, you're determined enough that you're going to make them figure it all out and give you answers as to how the different issues affect one another. It would be nice if it didn't take so much effort, but it does and you're doing it. > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi Everyone > > > > > > I had a cardiology appointment today which was brought forward > from > > > January 08 some weeks ago I had a angiogram, which came back > showing > > > narrowing of the arteries in my chest, so now I have been put on > > > Isosrbide Mononitrate 90mg, enalapiril 5mg one in the morning and > > > one at night and also statins and now I have a Nitrolingual > pumpsray > > > this on top of everything else i cannot believe it, aspirin75mg,he > > > was also talking about other heart medication they can control it > > > with I asked where does it put me in relation to Ipf he said we > will > > > work together with the Lung Centre at Wythenshawe but as far as > > > stents bypasses and stuff its a no go I want to say things in a > bit > > > of Latin but because there are Ladies present on this Group I am > > > controling myself Talk about being kicked when your down. Guest guest
, 53 yrs. is way too young to have so many complicated medical problems. It is sometimes like a snowball, isn't it? I'm glad that you are smart and are able to keep up on all of it. You called your doctor a consultant. Does that mean that you are from across the pond?
