Results from amnio are in!

Hi all,

I got a great X-mas present... the genetics counselor called me on Monday, Dec

24th. Amnio results are in and everything is fine!!!

We also have solid confirmation we are having a girl. I wanted a boy, DH just

wanted a healthy babe so he's a happy daddy right now! This is his first, as

my daughter is from a previous marriage. Now we just have to come up w/ a

girls name! I had a boys name selected... now to think of something original!

According to the charts I am 19 weeks LMP, 17 weeks gestation and have gained so

far 2 1/2 lbs. OB was somewhat concerned as he has " guesstimated " me to gain

about 14 lbs at this point on this 5'10 frame (oh, I'm no longer 5'9, I'm 5'10

!!! wooo hooo). Repeat ultrasound looks great, fetus is above average

(chartwise) for weight and length....she was documented last week to be about

250 grams in weight and 22.8 cm in length (8.8 oz, 9inches).
