Guest guest Posted September 8, 2001 Report Share Posted September 8, 2001 kris, are you in oklahoma? i'm in tulsa, capital city of quik trip, the world's best convenience store (always open, always clean, no smoking, easy parking, FREE atm withdrawals, well-stocked, caffiene free diet coke on the fountain and skim milk!!) when i lived up in dc, i missed QTs every time i had to go to the filthy, scary, poorly stocked, cramped so-called convenience stores up there. kind of a sad statement..i was a young woman in the bustling, vibrant power center of the country and yearning for a safe place to stop and get some skim milk on the way home! anna Message: 21 Date: Sat, 08 Sep 2001 00:21:11 -0500 Subject: Re: Kris - re: 7-11 Actually, we *don't* have 7-11s here... I rarely get them anymore because of so much sugar. I wonder, have they not ever been able to make diet Icees, or is the freezing process dependent upon the sugar content?
