LOL--Im confused is the generic the same or not?? I need to know if I should

order some of the ARMOUR or stick with my generic I just got the generic

about a month and a half ago and honestly dont feel like I did on the

regular ARMOUR. But I could be going through a bad spell and its just

coincidence..I know my hormones are off too because I have been getting hot

flashes. So please tell me if I should stick with the generic or order some

ARMOUR.

standards for thyroid tablets?

ANSWER

Armour® Thyroid Tablets, USP contain the labeled amounts of levothyroxine

and liothyronine, as established by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP). To

meet quality standards it must also pass bacteriological testing and must

meet other product quality tests. The ratio of Armour® Thyroid T4 to T3 is

4.22:1 (4.22 parts of T4 to one part of T3).

Natural Preperations derived from porcine thyroid glands. (T3, Liothyronine

is approximately 4 times as potent as T4 Levothyroxine on a microgram for
