Guest guest
Dear - When Pete applied for disability it took 9 months and he finally got okayed because of tests that were run by a doc from Columbia Pres Hosp in NYC--you might try contacting the American Disability Act people--I believe they are on the internet and also Pete belongs to the American Deaf Association(Ithink thats what its called)..There are also lawyers who specialize in disability and will not charge you anything unless you get it---and it is retroactive..If I think of anything else I will post it..But don't give up, I think that's what " they " hope you will do Janet..............PS Pete did not get disability based on RP but because he went deaf and has no balance response. Guest guest
: do you have an attorney working with you. Sometimes it takes them to get things going. also try writing your congressman and really give it to him and beg for help. Have had patient's who did this and it help speed up the process. I wonder if people will really ever understand what we go through. It's not like we want to be disabled. It's hard enough having this to deal with then also adding the red tape. Keep your faith and determination and when you go before the judge keep saying huh? until they bring someone to help you or bettter yet insist they write what they are saying because you can't hear enough to understand!! Maybe that will get it through their heads what is really going on. Good luck!! Guest guest
Does she have or is getting any infections relating to this? s all started when he was weeing and instead of it all coming out it was overflowing and going into his kidneys, but he had also picked up a little infection so the infection went into his kidneys and caused scarring. Thankfully once we treated the infection the bladder reflux disappeared. Guest guest
: Please call your doctor (bariatric) right away. I didn't have anything like what you're experiencing, but it sounds like your doc should know about it. Please let us know how you're doing.
