Guest guest
Gosh, you can tell I am having a bad day. I tried to respond to this twice this a.m. and then just went to bed. I thought I was having more side effects from the Neurontin but it turns out I'm having an ovarian cyst problem again. I haven't had it for about three years. The first time I was writhing in pain, went to the ER and was scheduled for an appendectimy. It turns out it was an ovarion cyst that ruptured. It happened twice after that within a few months but when I got it today it took me a while to figure it out. All you can do is take pain meds and wait it out. Anyway, Sara, I started taking Neurontin last saturday and only have a few side effects that were pretty tolerable. Especially since it seems to really help my V pain (already!). The side effects are not as bad as the ones I had with the trycyclic I was on. I hope it works for you.

Guest guest
ML: Thanks so much for the kind words. I just started last Saturday with 300 then on Wed moved to 2 pills (600mg) I am supposed to add another pill tomorrow but I will wait and see how my side effects are. I spoke with a friend last night who used Neurontin for her Interstatial Cystitis (which led to Vulvar pain) and she had NO symptoms at all! I'm pretty sure it's working for me so I will work through the side effects. They don't seem as bad as the side effects from the Desiprimine and I was willing to battle those, as well. I just want to sit down in front of people with out wiggling for a better position or sitting on my feet, etc. My sister is paranoid that I will accidentally " flash " someone when I wear my skirts w/o panties! (She's always asking me " are you wearing underwear " - she's so cute) I did wear underpants and sweats last night for about 4 hours - YEAH! ---
