Guest guest
Hi, Ellen...welcome to the list, glad you found us. It sounds like you're really doing pretty well. A lot of us here also eat lower carbs to keep our BGs down - even some of us on insulin do. Less carbs = less insulin needed! Have you checked out Rick Mendosa's website? There's lots of good stuff there and he also has an online newsletter with the latest poop on diabetes - new research, new products, etc., lots of good reading I believe there's a link to his site at the bottom of this post. Or if the link isn't there, just go to www.mendosa.com Vicki ----- Original Message ----- > Hi folks, > > Don't know why I didn't think to look for a diabetes list before -- > I'm on practically every other kind of list! Maybe your friend will find some good suggestions here. Your post interests me---Newbie/Type 2 on Avandia---not sure what I am doing---focusing on understanding the carbs. Looking at my eating history--I certainly need to understand them. Hoping that a tortilla roll up will stay a part of my diet--lettuce, cucumber, alphala sprouts, chicken and a few grated carrots---it works for me. Found a low carb tortilla---and there are suggestions for making your own. Fingers crossed.
