Oh Terri... no... I am so sorry. I am so sorry. I can't even begin to find

words,

except to say that if prayers are what you want, you will have them from me. My

heart

is aching, dear one. I am so sorry.

Hi everyone,

I do not know how to say this.....and right now, I must be fairly brief. I

started spotting and having contractions on Jan. 30th. Then on Jan. 31st, my

OB told me to come to the hospital. I went, I was in labor, I had started

dilating. I was already at a 4. They tried to stop the contractions. My bag

of waters was bulging and near the breaking point. They sent me by ambulance

to St. 's for a neonatologist and high risk OB. I was admitted. When I

got there, my bag of waters broke, I was fully dilated. Needless to say, it

was all a shock. I delivered my beautiful daughter Maci Kay at 10:10pm on

Dec. 31, 2001. Unfortunately, she did not survive. Her heart was beating but

she never took a breath. She was 22 weeks and 5 days gestation. If she had

been 23-24 weeks, they could possibly have saved her. She was perfect and

fully developed except for her eyes and lungs. She was too early. She

weighed 15 ounces and was 11 1/2 inches long. She was taken by God the very

night she was delivered from my womb. Within 24 hours, we had to pick out a

burial plot, her casket, her clothes she would wear to her eternal home,

etc. This has been the MOST difficult thing I have EVER had to endure in my

entire life. There are many medical things I do not have the strength to get

into right now......but I will share those issues at a later time, when I am

ready. My family and I are trying desperately to make it thru today. We

will have her funeral/memorial service today, Wed., Jan, 2nd, at 10am at

First Baptist Church in Burnet. Edgar's Funeral Home in Burnet has the

arrangements. She will be buried at wick Cemetary near Marble Falls,

Texas. If anyone wishes to contact us, our home number is: . Our

address is: 703 Kincheloe St., Burnet, Texas 78611. Lonnie, Garrett and I

need all the prayers and support you have. The next several months will be

very trying for us indeed. Thank you for your love and support as always.
