Guest guest
Tonia, Thank you for the information I really appreciate it. I know that this situtation has effected my spirits and put a kink in my life but I am not beating myself up over it. Financially we are ok, its not what we are use to living with but we have been living well within our means over the last few years so it is more of an incovienece than dire straights. I feel fortunate because it could be so much worse than it is. I think my biggest problem now is bordum and depending on others to find the time to do stuff around the yard. I finally found a guy here in town that will cut the grass and do odd jobs for a reasonable price. I can handle the everyday stuff in the house but maintianing the yard has been impossible and a constant worry. I know a few years ago this would have been a tremendous struggle to deal with, but a lot has happended over the last two years and I have worked hard to get my mind and spirit in the right place. This is my life for the time being and I have come to accept it as it is and to make improvements where I can, what other choice is there? I just think its funny that these doctors automatically assume that you are depressed without actually talking to you about the situtation or clarifiying the yes/no answers you put on a piece of paper. I guess its hard for people to know if they have depression so I will go along with the program. Thanks again! Tim
Guest guest
Barbara, Well put, I am usually in a good mood with a few exceptions. Now I feel like a bystander. See the doctor on Wednesday and will bring up the subject. Thanks and hope you are feeling well today! Tim
Guest guest
Amey, Mine also just has his voice mail stuff....but, he checks it every 2 hours. He has 2 offices, 60 miles apart from each other, with one also being the same distance from his home. So, he travels back and forth between the two. Now, He is the ONLY Pain Management Doctor left in the City. The other one that was there decided to retire....so, my doc started taking over his patient list also until those patients would be able to find another doctor to help them, because he already has his Patient Limits (meaning he doesn't have anymore time to handle an extra 100-200 patients as he already has 200 patients at his office in the city, and probably another 100 patients at the Main Office in a smaller area.) So, when he doesn't call me back within an hour, I know that his voice message is filled up....and I just call back again. I've never had to call more than 2 times though. Tonia -------Original Message------- Tonia, just so ya know not all dr's have and answering service. Mine doesnt. he has an answering machine and he listens to it every nite at 8pm. which sucks cause my pharmacy closes at 8pm! but he is very good and i wouldnt want anybody else. Hope yer friend ets the help she needs. Where is she from?? Maybe i can help. have a pain free moment, gentle hugs, amey ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
