Guest guest
Hi Vickie First of all COMGRATS to you and your hubby. That is wonderful. Can I ask you a few questions. Did you have a hard time concieving before surgery? Did your cycle get better after surgery? I am really looking for some encouragement because we were not able to concieve before surgery, tryed for 4 years. And we really would like to become parents or at least try to. Any information would be greatly appreciated. thank s susan 8-3-01 -79 pds I just found out I'm pregnant! Hi there! I have been a member of this group for a few months, but have not been reading or posting for most of that time. Well, we just started trying at Thanksgiving, and found out last week that I'm pregnant. We are really excited, and so is our almost 4-year-old. I figure I'm due late August/early September. I go in to the OB next week. My surgeon gave me the go ahead since I was so close to goal, and healed well, and labs were good. I had surgery on Jan 26, 2001 and am down 143 lbs., with 7 pounds to goal (goal is 180). I'm wearing a size 16 or regular large top and feeling wonderful. I can eat a good size meal compared to most who have had the surgery (RNY), but have not exercised regularly, although I'm more active than I was before. I plan to start Yoga next week 2 times a week, and treadmill 2 times a week for a half hour. I figure this is a good start. Thanks in advance for all your help, advice, and support.
