It seems to me that the problem here is not so much getting the cut of meat

as getting some pork that has not been bred for leaness. If the hogs being

raised for the market are lean, then the meat will be lean regardless of

which store you purchase it from. On the other hand, there might be a

farmer somewhere who raises the non-lean hogs for his own consumption and

who would be willing to sell a roast. That would almost require knowing

someone who knew someone, etc.

Oops I meant to say 50 lbs -- $250 dollars delivered. But what do I do

with 50 lbs of pork--I live alone :<)

I might talk to my kids & see if they want to go in on one order.

It's too bad you can't get your hands on some Japanese pork, as they value

marbled meat. It's shipped there from the U.S.
