Guest guest
Hi Steve, Welcome to our group....sorry you have to be here. We have a wonderful group of supportive, compassionate people who understand. If you have any questions or concerns, ask away because someone probably has gone through something similar at some point. We are all at different stages of pulmonary fibrosis and we also have different diagnosis. I sign off with uip because I have Usual Interstitial Pneumonitis.... Anyone who is a friend of Beths, is a friend of mine. She's an amazing woman and I love her lots!! I also had the opportunity to spend time with her in the Fall in Chattanooga, TN. Anyway, welcome. I'm 49 diagnosed almost five years ago and still working full time. I happen to work at the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation so if you need any information or would like our patient handbook, email me at ls_pulmonaryfibrosis@... and I'll mail you out a packet of information. That goes for anyone on the board who would like one. She is a lovely person. I spent a couple of days with her in the fall and it was a love fest. She is so well informed about her illness and determined to live her life in spite of it. I can relate to your restrictive-obstructive disease because I have PF and Bronchiectasis. It is a challenge. I have lots of mucus and congestion. I admire your courage to continue working. It is so hard when illness strikes at your age and you are in the process of raising your kids and living your life. Stick around. We learn a lot from each other.
