Guest guest Posted May 1, 2001 Report Share Posted May 1, 2001 ok.....here we go! lil clem's test came back and dr decided to start the epogen injections today. he will get them wed adn thurs also and mon, wed fri next week. he sees the dr this friday at 11:15 and im sure he will do more blood work (ouch). if after these treatments something does not get better, who knows.....maybe the transfusion or more injections. my dr appt went great......it took all of 5 minutes.......a record for us! the dr looked at my incision, felt my tummy and said its getting better. the culture did come back with staph, so it was good they had me on augmention 875mg for 7 days/2xday. i hope this means the staph infection is gone......my mom said to get a blood test to make sure so i might call the dr and ask his opinion. anyway eerik is WONDERFUL and taking 1 more week off from work to just let me get some rest and recover. now that all my other stuff is getting better im basically SORE from the operation........i guess my body knew it could only do so much. so im taking a few pain pills here and there, not much anymore, but just trying to rest and find a comfy position now that my midsection is a bit sore and achy......but oh so much better than before! i hope thats all for me and clem will be better soon! thanks to you all for your phone calls and dinners and support, esp. prayers. pray clemmie will go to sleep! he loves to just sit up and look at you.........not even so much cry or anything, just look at you! but we are tired and want some sleep....or eerik does, cause i get to sleep and poor daddy is on call all night. thanks again! teresa and family Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
