Guest guest
Sam, What are the Drs. doing for you to treat your progressive disc disease?? I am, quite honestly, thrilled you don't have RSD, but hope that you get the treatment you need... were you being " literal " when you mentioned losing your leg, or are you losing the use of it? Are you going to have surgery to help repair the discs?? They are doing some newer, non-invasive procedures to repair discs these days, maybe you could look into that. I had an IDET procedure done, which may have worked IF done properly/taken care of properly. A couple of days after the procedure, I actually heard the disc " pop " , but I hear it has great results for some. I hope that you're able to find some pain relief, and since we are all already friends, you can always be a part of the group and vent, etc. if you need to. Hugs, Jo
Guest guest
Remember in this group we don't say the "S" word. I will be here for you no matter if you have RSD or not, you still have chronic pain, you just have an exact cause which is great! They can fix you, I know it is hard now but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Don't fret my friend, you are going to be fine, just some bumpy roads ahead. Guest guest
Thanks. For you kind works But the Big Problem is that they will not be able to do much to fix most of my problems. A lot of it is behind my fusion. And i'm sure i do have RSD also. The good thing out of all this, At least I have new young Dr's that think out of the box somewhat. So who knows maybe they will be able to do something. My main Dr just told me that he will be trying some new things. and maybe a case study or something like that. (To much pain meds ((no short term memory) Anyway I'm trying to keep a stiff upper lip. -- Re: Well I don't really have RSD Remember in this group we don't say the "S" word.
