Guest guest
Hi all, I am kind of a silent observer here, but I just wanted to let you all know that I am starting my daughter on pro-EFA today. I am really hoping that this helps us. Either way though, thank you all for sharing information about different methods of treatment etc.. Keep us in your thoughts as we begin. Also, someone asked if Apraxia was heredetary. I have five children. Only one is apraxic. However, my husband stutters and my son was speech delayed and had an SLP through age three. He is doing great now...he is a big four year old, and no longer requires the SLP. My daughter was different from the very beginning. She had severe reflux and was failure to thrive until about one month old. She also had severe motor delays (she is great now with the exception of speech). My guess is that there is some sort of " speech glitch " in my husbands gene pool. But that is just my personal theory and not based on any scientific fact. Thanks Charlene
