Guest guest
>>>I was wondering how everyone tummy looked pregnant. after loosing weight over 155 pound I have tummy flab for sure, i looked into getting it cut off but the doctor said he saw no since in doing it if I was going to try to get pregnant. I really want too look pregnant if I do. you know what i mean. So was wondering how any of you looked. Thanks, ^j^ Open VBG 6/98 9/01 lost 156 lbs<<< ======== LOL! I had a total misconception of the idea of what my pg belly would look like. I didn't realize that as the baby grows in those first months, the growth is actually more " upward " into the abdomen, not outward. The sticking-out part kind of starts right behind your belly button, or at least it did with me. So at my biggest, at nine months, it was like a big preggo belly with a flap of panniculum hanging off the bottom. I definitely looked pg! But I didn't really look pg until I was about 6 months. It's different for different body types, though. I'm an apple-shape, with big shoulders and no butt. <grin> Kris
Guest guest
Well....I really didn't start to show until I was about 6-6 1/2 months pregnant. Even now at 7 months people can't believe it. I too needed a tt prior to becoming pregnant. To help u look more pregnant than fat, wear support garments and " rare back " (smile) It also helps the back.......believe me, with the tummy flab and baby growth, it's murder on the back. Dee P.G. Guest guest
Hii , I had a tummy tuck when I had my RNY in 2/2000. I was naturally very concerned that the pregnancy would " ruin " the tummy tuck. In my case, it did not. I gave birth 7/01. I took pictures during pregnancy and after. I definitely looked pregnant, but carried very close to my body and measured rather small, despite a normal size baby. I did not get any new stretch marks, much to my relief, as the worst of the previous ones had been cut out with the tummy tuck. My tummy is now almost as tight as it was before this pregnancy, just needs a bit of toning exercise. There are pregnancy pictures and an after shot on the web site below. ) Pam T. Guest guest
I'm one of those people that " lives for today " and had quite a bit of plastics done before I got pregnant. I think it all depends on one's disposable income besides attitude as to if you have some or a lot of plastics before you become pregnant. The important thing, IMO, is that you wait at least six months following any plastic procedure that involves anesthesia before attempting to become pregnant. My due date is 5/24/02 and I plan on breast-feeding for 6 months then go back in and have my PS do another abdominoplasty and re-do my mastopexy as I've decided I want smaller implants. If my breast implants prevent me from breast-feeding (wont know until I try) then I will schedule the abdominoplasty and boob job 6 weeks following delivery. Guest guest
I'm noticing that too Kris. I have some " flab " that was at my belly level. Now as my belly grows with the baby the flab is all pushed UP ... so its like I have a huge roll above my belly button. ARGH. I am starting to look more pg now though. Today I got my first " when are you due? " question. Yahoo!!! lol Lyssa __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Don't worry ....You will look pregnant! I had a panniculectomy in Aug 1999...My abdominals were very tight & it did take me until the end to look very pregnant...but part of that was due to my still big butt & hips...LOL Anyway, I have a picture of me at 9 months if you want to see it... Take care, Beth TUMMY FLAB > I was wondering how everyone tummy looked pregnant. after loosing weight > over 155 pound I have tummy flab for sure, i looked into getting it cut off > but the doctor said he saw no since in doing it if I was going to try to > get pregnant. Guest guest
I just luv you web site. I want a tummy like that if and when I get pregnant. Sound funny. But I want too look pregnant. I am having a revision from vbg to RNY because of some band problems and I am going to ask if I can have my flab cut off too, he may not do it, cause the plastic surgeon thought it was a waste. But the WLS Dr. may. Your blessed Pam. I will be 37 in a few days and I want too look that good at 40 if and when I deliver my first child.
